Apparently in a fit of patriotism, my middle school band teacher created something ... something beautiful. It has since become a YouTube sensation; now everyone is singing ... DO IT UP AMERICA!
I don't even know where to begin with this. The first word that comes to mind is awful. Awful on so many levels. Ironically the drummer is wearing an Alcatraz shirt during a song about freedom. And was the token black guy singer Milo from the early Saved by the Bell episodes? When was this filmed, I hope not recently for their sake. Finally, was the group supposed to be arranged in the shape of America at the end? If so, they forgot the state of Florida.

If there's one thing I've always said, its that America is white people symbolically shaking hands with black people.
At least this video doesn't perpetuate debilitating stereotypes like only black people have enough rhythm to play bass guitar...
